Earlier in 2024, I began working with a new London based company Artisaned, to produce bespoke tableware pieces aligning select and new pieces from my bronze rim collection to complement their aesthetics and philosophy.
Secret Ceramics
I was invited by London Craft Week 2024, to make a bespoke single stem vase to raise money for Kate Malone’s charity for disadvantaged inner city children “Fire Up 4 Clay. My piece was based on a tower shell and echoed Turitella Vases I made previously in white porcelain. This time I chose onyx black porcelain and a multiglazed surface.
Association of Guilds of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers
I was honoured to be commissioned to make 350 mugs for the AGWSD Summer School 2023. I made 356 mugs in total each with an embossed logo.
Sarah Hickey Jewellery
in November 2022 I launched a collection of ring dishes for Hexham based jewellers Sarah Hickey Jewellery. I love working in collaboration with clients and designing and making bespoke collections. These particular dishes reflect the signature green of Sarah’s new shop front and gold lustre rim luxury.
Bird Bath
Thrown Contemporary
A commission by Thrown Contemporary Gallery, London for their Cornish garden. The finished piece (dimensions 37cm x 3cm) specifically made from onyx black porcelain and part unglazed to give the illusion of glistening water being poured onto the piece, to catch the outdoor sunlight and to reflect the making process. I also sculpted pebbles for the birds to stand on, from hollowed out onyx black porcelain. Autumn 2021.
